Security Overview

Data Protection Policy

At Smartally, we prioritize the protection of your data and use the latest technology to ensure that it is stored safely and securely. All data is stored on Amazon AWS servers located in state-of-the-art data centers, and is transferred through encrypted networks to multiple disks for instant backup.

We follow strict internal network security protocols and regularly update our operating systems, software, frameworks, and libraries to the latest compatible versions to mitigate any potential vulnerabilities. In the event of a publicly reported vulnerability, we take prompt action to apply hotfixes and patches or implement pro-active measures such as configuring firewalls or intrusion detection systems.

Your data is always sent using HTTPS and Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 with a 2048-bit server key length to ensure that it is protected from eavesdropping while in transit. Our servers are equipped with full redundancy and are protected by biometric locks and round-the-clock surveillance. Only authorized personnel have access to the data center.

We also protect your billing information by encrypting all credit card transactions at the same level used by leading banks. Card information is transmitted to a secure third-party payment gateway, and only an identifying hash (ID number) is stored on our servers.

If you have any questions about our data protection policies or need more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you have a concern or need to report an incident, please contact us via contact@smartally.ca
